Accountability

Editorial policy

PetGearWise publishes buying guidance for people making real household decisions. Accuracy, evidence boundaries, and fit matter more than content volume.

Independent judgment

Merchants and manufacturers do not approve our conclusions before publication.

No invented testing

Hands-on language appears only when direct use occurred and the test conditions are documented.

Specific trade-offs

Recommendations state who benefits, who should skip, what ownership costs recur, and what uncertainty remains.

Dated corrections

Material factual changes receive a visible update. Quiet cosmetic edits do not reset the evidence date.

Product samples

If a manufacturer provides a sample, the relationship will be disclosed. Acceptance does not guarantee coverage or a positive conclusion.

AI-assisted work

Tools may assist with organization, comparison, editing, and quality checks. They are not treated as factual sources. Claims still require human review against source material.

Corrections

Readers and companies may report a factual issue with the exact page, claim, and supporting evidence. Commercial pressure alone is not a correction basis.
